Plague Doctors
The plague doctors were physicians who were, in many cases, hired by towns that had been badly hit by the plague. The doctors would then treat all of the people infected by the plague; because they were being paid by the town, it didn't matter if the sick were rich or poor, the doctor would still visit them.
